In accordance with provisions stipulated by the law, Society of Friends of Dubrovnik Antiques ( hereinafter reffered to as „Society“) undertakes to provide privacy and personal data protection to the Buyers of the tickets for Dubrovnik City Walls; Fort Lovrijenac; Walls of Ston; Sokol Tower, Dunave; Rector's Palace, Slano through the Web shop of Society.
During the purchasing process only basic information necessary for completing the purchase is collected. All the personal data of our Buyers is securely stored and available only to employees requiring it within the scope of their employment. All employees and business partners are responsible for respecting the privacy and personal data protection principles and no promotional or marketing content shall be sent to buyers without their explicit consent.
What personal data we collect
When you visit these sites, we will automatically collect information about your device, including your browser name, IP address, time zone, and some cookies that are already present on your device. Additionally, as you browse the pages, we will collect information about which pages you visit, how many pages you stay on, and what search terms you came to on a particular page. We use the information you provide us with in the purchase process in order to issue you the tickets and an invoice for a successfully charged order, as well as to contact you and answer your questions in the event of unforeseen problems or complaints.
We use the following information: first and last name, address, postal code, city and country of residence, mobile phone number and email address. In case of Buyer requesting an VAT invoice we also use the name and ID number of the company, all for the legal purpose of issuing the invoice.
How long do we keep your data
Personal data is stored and processed only as long as necessary for the service to be completed. Personal data which is no longer necessary is either irrevocably anonymized or securely destroyed.
Where personal data is stored
Society uses software by the RAO d.o.o., Bužanova 3, Zagreb; a company which keeps its servers in the Republic of Croatia, in a professional data centre with all the necessary security features (ISO 27001).
The right to object
If, despite all the precautions taken in order to protect personal data, you believe there is ground for objection, we kindly ask you to notify us by writing to info@citywallsdubrovnik.hr . Besides filing a complaint to the Society, you can also file one to the Personal Data Protection Agency.
Change of privacy policy
Society reserves the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy by publishing the amended text of the Policy on the website and the mobile version of the website. Society hereby encourages each Buyer to read this Privacy Policy before making a purchase. In case of disagreement with our Privacy Policy, we kindly advise you not to use either the desktop or the mobile version of the site.
This Privacy Policy shall enter into force immediately upon its publication on the Society's website and the mobile version thereof. By continuing to use this website, the user confirms and agrees to this Privacy Policy.
